Pre-orders: how they work & schedule

Natural wool clothing has not always been produced continuously by small manufacturers and brands.

From the moment they receive their raw materials, they must already know the quantities to be manufactured; between this stage and delivery to the shops, many months are required.

Manufacturers typically launch their production only once a year for the cold season. Shops place their orders between January and March for deliveries between July and October .

Afterwards :

• There is almost no possibility of restocking.
  
• Certain sizes or colors disappear permanently
  
• the remaining stocks arrive very late in the season
  

To avoid :

• the breakups
  
• default purchases
  
• overproduction
  
• unsold items
  

The Maison de Mamoulia shop operates on a pre-order basis for some of the manufacturers (11th year) .

This is the most reliable system for obtaining the correct sizes, colors, and models.
