Who am I?

I am Yuliya.
Ukrainian, mother, passionate about living wool and founder of Maison de MaMoulia since 2013.

In the beginning, I launched this business as a simple “personal challenge” in just a few days. Quickly, it became a rare expertise: that of advising, supporting and offering a trusted choice of real living wool , for all those who want authentic quality and uncompromising properties.

From day one, I wanted to understand natural materials: their benefits, their limitations, their secrets and how to extend their lifespan… naturally.
I was looking for truly natural materials for my children: something that breathes, protects, and warms without suffocating.

Then I discovered treasures - but also areas of obscurity.
“Natural” wool that isn’t.
Superwash treatments, polymers, enzymes, Naturetexx…There are so many.
Modified, coated, altered fibers… never clearly explained.

This quest for transparency has led me to places I never imagined:
to write the first book in France dedicated to these hidden treatments :

The manufacturers I have selected since 2013 are often family businesses , Scandinavian or German, established for several generations.
They are fighting to preserve the wool intact, while the market is moving towards treated, coated, “facilitated” fibers… because a consumer in a hurry absolutely wants “machine washable” and “softened”, without knowing the real price to pay.
