Virgin wool creates a feeling of constant comfort and lasting well-being.

In winter, the pillow is naturally tempered: the air heated by the body is retained around the head and forms an insulating air cushion, one of the best natural protections against the cold.
In summer or warmer weather, wool absorbs moisture and perspiration without feeling damp or cold. It can absorb up to 30% of its own weight in moisture while remaining dry to the touch.

Natural properties

Naturally antibacterial: protein fiber with an acidic pH does not provide a favorable environment for bacteria and viruses.
Antistatic: does not attract dust and does not provide a habitat for dust mites.

Why not a 60 x 60 cm format?

Because in sleep ergonomics, a pillow should only support the head, and not the entire head + shoulders + shoulder blades.
A pillow that is too high or too wide puts the spine in the wrong position.

The width can vary depending on the width of the bed, but the ideal height remains 40 cm, to ensure precise and physiological support.

• Is this cushion cover suitable for children?
Yes.
Virgin wool is naturally breathable, antibacterial, and antistatic. It does not attract dust and does not provide a favorable environment for dust mites.
It is therefore suitable for both children and adults, including those with sensitive skin.

• Is it possible to sleep directly on a wool cover?
Yes.
Wool naturally regulates temperature and humidity, making it particularly comfortable against the skin during sleep.
If you are very sensitive to touch, you can add a thin linen pillowcase (for continuity with the properties of wool).

• Does the cover keep you warm in summer?
No.
Wool does not “keep you warm” in the classical sense: it thermoregulates.
In summer or hot weather, it absorbs moisture and prevents the feeling of dampness or stickiness, while remaining dry to the touch.

• Is this cover machine washable?
No.
It is not recommended to machine wash the wool cover to avoid felting and deformation of the fibers.
The main maintenance consists of ventilation and occasional brushing.

• How do I care for the cover on a daily basis?
Regular ventilation with fresh air, especially after a particularly restless night when the cover may have absorbed more moisture

• What to do in case of a stain?
Clean only the affected area, with room temperature water, using a genuine gall or Marseille soap, without immersing the entire cover.

• Does wool retain odors?
No.
Thanks to lanolin, odors do not adhere to the fiber.
Simply airing the room will restore a neutral and fresh scent.

• Does the cover attract dust mites or dust?
No.
Wool is antistatic and does not retain dust.
Dust mites do not find a favorable environment to develop there due to the very acidic pH of wool.

• Does this cover come with a cushion?

• Can a pillowcase be used over the cover?
Yes.
It's possible to add a linen pillowcase (if possible, to maintain the thermoregulatory properties), particularly to adjust the feel if needed. But the main advantage of this cover is precisely its thermoregulatory capacity, ideal for people who sweat a lot during sleep.

• Is the cover suitable for allergy sufferers?
Yes.
Virgin wool is generally better tolerated than synthetic fibers because it is breathable, free from harsh chemical treatments, and naturally antibacterial.

If you wish, you can occasionally use the Kaiser sheepskin brush.
Brushing helps to lift flattened hairs in areas of friction, restore volume and maintain the thermoregulatory capabilities of wool.
It must be done delicately and only occasionally.
