Ulrich Natürlich ecological laundry detergent is specially designed for delicate laundry: wool, wool-silk, silk, fine knits, lingerie, lace and all sensitive fibers.
Formulated with gentle and biodegradable ingredients, it cleans effectively without damaging, protects fibers and prevents limescale deposits thanks to dextrorotatory lactic acid.

Detergent Regulation EC-No. 648/2004

Recommended dosage: 20 ml per 2.5 kg of dry laundry
(1 L = approximately 50 washes). Ulrich Natürlich laundry detergent is particularly economical and highly concentrated.

• Hand wash:
Dilute the dose in room temperature or lukewarm water. Gently immerse, do not rub or twist.

• Machine wash:
Delicate or wool cycle, cold temperature or 30°C maximum to preserve untreated natural fibers.

Store in a cool, dry place. Protect from direct sunlight. Use within 6 months of opening the bottle.

The raw materials used are readily biodegradable. Compliant with the guidelines of the German Animal Protection Association.

• Can I wash sheepskins with it?
Yes.
It cleans without damaging the fibers or drying out the skin.
However, to preserve the original suppleness and feel, a detergent specifically enriched with lanolin is still preferable for skins.

• Is it sufficient for wool clothing?
For wools that have lanolin in their composition, it is important to use the Cure or Impregnation in addition to the detergent.

• Can I wash regular laundry (cotton, synthetics, everyday items)?
Yes, without a problem for normal everyday laundry that just needs freshening up.
However, it is not the most suitable detergent for heavy soiling: its formula acts like a gentle shampoo and is not designed to strip away grease or embedded stains. Use a gall soap or Marseille soap on stains locally, before using this gentle detergent.

• Do I need to use a fabric softener as well?
No. It is unnecessary for wool and can, on the contrary, coat the fiber. The formula is designed to leave the textile supple without any additions.

• Although this detergent is labeled as "effective up to 60°C" and "machine washable," these indications refer exclusively to the product's performance – not the resistance of the delicate garments for which it is intended.

• For fragile materials, and especially untreated wool (without Superwash, enzymes, etc.), washing should always be done at room temperature or cold, with hand washing highly recommended. These natural fibers cannot withstand sudden temperature changes or the mechanical action of a machine cycle.

• For garments made of live, untreated wool, cold hand washing remains the safest and most fiber-friendly method.

• Supplement with the Cure or Impregnation (Ulrich or Disana) for wool products requiring lanolin renewal.

Ulrich Natürlich is a German brand created over 30 years ago with a simple idea: a cleaning product should wash without altering the fabric or irritating the skin. Rather than adapting a conventional detergent, the brand chose to start from scratch by removing everything that isn't essential. The formulas contain only plant-based active ingredients and exclude enzymes, bleaching agents, optical brighteners, and dyes, in order to clean without changing the structure of textiles.
