Fisherman sizes are expressed in international sizes, they fit like French sizes. Choose your usual size
Example: I am 177cm tall and wear an M-38 FR, my size at Fisherman is an M.
About the size of wool garments
Untreated pure wool retains its natural structure.
Unlike polymer-stabilized fibers, it remains supple and vibrant: the fiber can stretch naturally (up to approximately +30%) then return to its shape, without permanent deformation.
An untreated wool garment therefore never remains completely fixed to a strict textile pattern.
It adapts to the body, movements, and ambient humidity: the material works, breathes, and accompanies the morphology.
Consequently, the size does not correspond to a closed category.
The main difference between two sizes is mainly in the length (sleeves, total height), while the width allowance remains evolutionary.
Thus, for example, a size 44 can also fit a 46 - and depending on the models, sometimes even a 48 - without compromising comfort.
