Ideal from birth

Perfect when regular socks are still too big.

Wool naturally regulates temperature:
it warms without overheating and absorbs moisture without feeling wet.

A valuable ally for:

  • the first hours in maternity
  • babies with cold feet
  • stroller outings
  • babywearing
  • and all year round, even in summer!

To slip into the hospital bag.

Why pure wool is ideal for children's feet

Wool can absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture without feeling wet.
In contact with sweat, it creates a slightly acidic environment that naturally inhibits the development of bacteria and fungi.

This environment also helps limit friction responsible for blisters.

  • Fewer odors
  • Fewer washes.
  • Respected physiological comfort.

Why 100% wool socks have become almost impossible to find?

Socks made of untreated pure wool are extremely rare today.
They can still be found at a few committed small manufacturers – but almost no longer in the classic textile industry.

Why?

Because wool is a living, natural
 and delicate fiber.
And feet are the most stressed part of the body.

Manufacturers then have two options:

○ Reinforce with synthetics.
This almost always involves an anti-felting treatment (Superwash or equivalent) to make the wool more resistant and machine washable.
Consequence: the fiber is modified, stiffened, its scales altered – and it loses a large part of its natural properties so interesting for socks (thermoregulation, moisture management, bacterial balance).

○ Defend real wool.
Accept that it requires hand washing.
Accept that it may felt in the machine.
Accept that it is not indestructible.

But this also means:

  • real breathability
  • authentic thermoregulation
  • naturally antibacterial environment
  • less frequent washing
  • unparalleled dry comfort
  • one of the rare alternatives suitable for sensitive skin or those reactive to synthetic fibers (irritation, thermal discomfort, sensation of burning feet, dermatological problems related to humidity).

Yes, pure wool socks can wear out.
Like all socks, for that matter. Even synthetics.
The difference? Synthetics are cheap, replaceable, disposable without us even realizing it – and washed very often.

Wool, however, makes you want to mend, repair, and keep it.

It's a conscious choice:
to prefer healthy, thermoregulated comfort, compatible with foot physiology -
rather than artificial durability obtained by adding plastic.

Few brands still accept to deal with complaints related to "fragility."
Yet, it is often a sign of the most precious quality.

Supporting these manufacturers means supporting intact wool.
And a different vision of textiles.

One size – suitable for newborns

Sole length: approximately 8 cm

Why an oversized sock loses efficiency?

A wool sock must be properly fitted to fully perform its function.

If it is too big:

  • it creates folds => increased friction
  • it moves in the shoe => loss of stability
  • it does not properly maintain the insulating air layer around the foot

However, the thermal insulation of wool relies on the micro-cavities of air trapped in the knit.
If the sock is loose, this natural regulation works less efficiently.

A good fit allows for:

  • better thermoregulation
  • optimal comfort
  • more even wear

Wool is stretchy: it adapts to the foot without compressing it.
Therefore, there is no need to "size up."

Maintenance tips

Pure wool socks rarely need washing.
Wool naturally regulates moisture and limits odors.

‱ Frequency
Wear for 1 day, air for 1–2 days.
Washing every 2-3 months is usually sufficient.

‱ Washing
- Hand wash only
- Cold or room temperature water
- Maintain the same temperature from washing to rinsing

Wool cannot withstand temperature variations or agitation.

‱ Detergent
- Use liquid wool-specific detergent only.
Avoid conventional (alkaline) detergents.

‱ Drying
- Do not tumble dry
- Do not use a radiator or direct sunlight
- Roll in a towel to absorb water without wringing
- Dry flat

‱ Care
Occasional lanolin treatment helps maintain wool's natural properties.

Manufacturing & Ecology

‱ Founding member of:
Arbeitskreis Naturtextil e.V.
Internationaler Verband der Naturtextilwirtschaft

One of the first companies to commit to organic textiles in Germany!

‱ Production on Bentley mechanical and Lonati electronic machines, complemented by numerous manual steps.

‱ Responsible pre-washing
- With clear water only
- No detergents
- Optimized water consumption
- Natural fiber stabilization

‱ Local recycling
All production waste and yarn packaging are recycled via regional partners.

‱ Virgin wool from certified organic farming (Patagonia). Non-tropical climate → lower parasite pressure → invasive practices unnecessary.
- No preventative pesticide treatments

‱ Organic feed
- Farming that respects the animals' natural rhythm

‱ Other natural fibers depending on the model:
- Organic cotton (non-GMO, no chemical pesticides)
- Linen, an ancient, robust, and durable fiber

‱ Sustainability integrated at every step: raw material, production, finishing.

Yuliya's Tips

I highly recommend this brand!
Since 2013, we've been wearing them at home, in our shoes, in all the sizes and models I offer.
Over 20,000 pairs have found their home with my support.

At our house, they are very rarely washed.
Months of use with simple airing... and each time, the same surprise: they remain clean and effective.

I sleep in these socks.
They are part of my daily life.

They are indispensable to me due to poor circulation and icy feet.
And when my children describe sensations of "burning feet" - situations where natural material becomes precious.

These are not "perfect" socks in the industrial sense of the word.
They are genuine socks.
And that is precisely why I continue to champion them! Their rarity in the field of sustainable fashion is a problem that continues to grow.
