Sheepskin cover for stroller or car seat - universal - Kaiser, Germany

Little King/Snowman Model - 80 × 35 cm

An essential item for baby's comfort in a stroller, pram, size 0 infant carrier or car seat.
No more wet backs and soaked hair caused by synthetic coatings that make you sweat!

Practical and universal

  • Ultra simple installation, without complicated settings.
  • It attaches and detaches in one motion (ideal for shaking out crumbs).
  • Adapts to the child's growth thanks to the Velcro fastening at the head.
  • Cotton lining on the reverse side.
  • Patchwork of selected hides, short hair 30 mm.

A lasting and precious gift

A lambskin is a baby gift that truly lasts.
It accompanies the child for several years - thanks to its "neck" which lengthens with the help of Velcro, - in all seasons, and always proves useful.
There is no age limit for enjoying a sheepskin - children sleep better on it, anywhere.

Why choose a sheepskin for a child?

  • Natural thermoregulation: cool in summer, warm in winter.
  • Exceptional absorption: up to 30% of its weight in moisture without feeling wet.
  • Naturally antibacterial (bacteria and viruses do not grow on the naturally acidic surface of keratin)
  • Nomad: absorbs baby's scent => ideal travel cuddly toy.

Composition

‱ 100% sheep’s wool
‱ 100% polyester technical lining.
The technical polyester lining on the back of Kaiser lambskins for car seats has a purely structural function.

This accessory is intended for a technical environment (car seat, stroller), which are themselves made of synthetic materials to meet safety, strength and stability requirements. A cotton or wool base could not offer the same mechanical strength or durability against friction, harness traction, and the stresses of intensive use.

The polyester is located only on the back, on the seat side.
It is not in contact with the child and does not alter the natural properties of the wool in any way: thermoregulation, breathability, moisture absorption, and comfort are still provided by the fleece.

Wool is the active material.
The synthetic lining is a technical support guaranteeing stability and safety.

Frequently Asked Questions

‱ Can this lambskin be used from birth?
Yes.
Kaiser blankets are designed to safely accommodate a newborn, thanks to their short pile (approximately 30 mm) and exceptional thermoregulatory properties. Their size is perfectly suited for a pram.

‱ Is the skin compatible with all car seats and strollers?
Yes.
Its universal format allows for quick and easy adaptation to most 3 or 5 point harnesses.

‱ Does the skin retain heat in summer?
No.
Wool naturally regulates temperature: it keeps the child cool in summer by wicking away moisture and avoiding the "soaked back" effect caused by synthetic materials.

‱ Can it be used in winter as well?
Yes.
Lambskin offers constant thermal comfort: it insulates against the cold, keeps body heat around the child and avoids cold surfaces of the seat or stroller.

‱ Is the skin washable?
Washing is not recommended. Regular maintenance (airing + brushing) is sufficient.
In case of stains, opt for localized cleaning.

‱ Are Kaiser leathers safe and chemically untreated?
Yes. They are Oeko-Tex Leather Standard certified and tanned with Relugan, a chrome-free medical process recognized for its skin tolerance and safety.

‱ Won't the skin slip inside the car seat?
No.
The shape and the cotton fabric on the back ensure a good grip. In addition, the skin naturally conforms to the child's weight.

‱ Can the skin interfere with the harness?
No.
The harness remains free and secure.

‱ Can I use it in the stroller AND in the car seat?
Yes. The compact size and mounting system allow it to be easily moved from one support to another.

Yuliya's Tips

‱ A sheepskin used outdoors (stroller) should not be used in bed (hygiene).
‱ Upon receipt: do not wash it! The natural odor is normal => air it out for a few days
‱ Before using it with your baby: sleep on it for 2–3 nights to transfer your scent

"I discovered lambskin in 2009 when I saw a mother using it in 30°C weather in a stroller.
I thought to myself, "She's crazy"... while my baby was sweating in hers.
In the end, it was my second child who had the chance to benefit from it from the beginning.
My eldest son, on the other hand, lost 4 years of comfort because of my prejudices.

Since 2012, Kaiser hides have been everywhere in our home: beds, armchairs, car, travel »

Kaiser

In the Westerwald region of Germany, far removed from standardized production, KAISER has built itself as a family business where the raw material dictates the manufacturing process. Here, leather is not treated as a mere industrial material, but as a natural material whose properties must be preserved.

Passed down through two generations, the brand specializes in the respectful processing of natural lambskins. The goal has never been to accelerate production, but rather to preserve the inherent qualities of the material: softness, temperature regulation, and comfort against the skin. The majority of the products are still made locally, in order to maintain control over the production process and the traditional expertise.

Medical-grade leathers are inspected annually by TÜV Rheinland and certified OEKO-TEX¼ LEATHER STANDARD 100 Class I. They are guaranteed to be free of chrome tanning, a crucial technical choice to ensure safe use from birth. This requirement encompasses not only compliance but also durability: a product that can last for a long time without compromising safety or well-being.

At KAISER, manufacturing is based on a simple balance: traditional craftsmanship, respect for animals, and environmental responsibility. The final product is not conceived as a seasonal accessory, but as a durable comfort item, designed to withstand years and repeated use.
