- Are you looking for versatile pants to wear

  • under a dress or skirt as elegant leggings,
  • under jeans in winter as a thermoregulating layer,
  • for winter sports,
  • at home or as comfortable pajamas?

- Are you pregnant and classic leggings don't fit your body shape?

- Do you want to keep your lower back well covered, even when sitting or crouching?

- Your teenager no longer fits into ManyMonths adjustable sizes, but you want to continue enjoying the benefits of wool?

- Are you looking to reduce washing frequency and prefer a natural, healthy, and untreated material?

The All-Time Leggings MaM are an essential basic, designed to adapt to your daily life.

They are adjustable pure merino wool leggings designed by MaM Babyidea to offer comfort, thermoregulation, and adaptability.

They are inspired by the philosophy of ManyMonths' grow-with-me clothing and support body changes, especially during pregnancy and the postpartum period.

Highlights

  • Adjustable low waist with an elastic button, to adapt to body variations (pregnancy, postpartum, weight fluctuations).
  • Cotton reinforcement band at the crotch to support the inner seam and improve durability.
  • Flat seams at the front and back for optimal comfort and to prevent rubbing.
  • Higher back waistband, to cover the lower back and stay in place, even when sitting or crouching.
  • Fine, soft, and stretchy knit, pleasant against the skin.
  • Natural thermoregulation: merino wool helps maintain a comfortable body temperature and allows the skin to breathe.

Versatile wear:

  • alone against the skin,
  • over a wool/silk layer,
  • under jeans, joggers or a dress,
  • for winter sports,
  • as loungewear or pajamas.
  • Long, roll-up legs, to adapt to height.
  • Soft seams, designed for comfort in direct contact with the skin.

2026/27 Colors:

Toasted Coconut
Warm and soft beige, slightly textured. A soothing neutral, easy to pair.

Foggy Black
Softened black, deep but not harsh. Nuanced charcoal effect, elegant and discreet.

Moondust Blue
Grayish blue, soft and balanced. Calm ambiance, easy to wear daily.

Callisto Moon
Deep brown with mineral nuances. Rich, stable and grounded.

Product Photos:

As this is a pre-order, photos of the new collection are not yet available.

The visuals presented show the product worn and in use, but some colors are not contractual and come from previous collections.

The photos in Foggy Black and Toasted Coconut correspond to the colors carried over into this new collection for the relevant products.

Sizes:

S - 36/38, M - 38/40, L - 40/44, XL - 44/46 (or even 48 thanks to the stretchy wool)

Please note: measurements are indicative and may vary by 1 to 2 cm from one item to another. As natural materials are elastic and living, dimensions can also change depending on conditions, particularly ambient humidity. It is therefore impossible to provide perfectly fixed measurements, regardless of the brand of living wool clothing.

S M L XL
Back length (highest), cm 105 108 112 112
Front length (low waist), cm 95 98 102 102
Inseam, cm 75 78 82 82
Hip width, cm 32 34 36 42

In the photos: I am 177 cm tall and usually wear a size M / 38. For these leggings, I wear an S to have them more enveloping and fitted like tights. I wear the M more at home because it looks a bit looser for my taste.

‱ No Superwash or other treatments
‱ Mulesing-free wool (yarn made exclusively for Babyidea)

Maintenance tips

Untreated pure wool clothing does not need to be washed often.

‱ Routine care

- Regular airing outdoors (outside if possible, or in front of an open window)
- Rest after each use: hung on a hanger or drying rack, not left in a ball
- Spot clean stains with ambient water and Ulrich gall soap or real Marseille soap

‱ Full wash (rare)

- Hand washing highly recommended despite "Machine Washable" label
- Cold or ambient water
- Ulrich NatĂŒrlich or Disana liquid wool detergent
- Wash temperature = rinse temperature
- Do not wring, roll in a towel
- Dry flat, away from sun and any heat source

‱ Maintaining Lanolin

- Treatment (every 2-3 washes) or lanolin impregnation (every 3-4 washes) from time to time to preserve self-cleaning and thermoregulating properties.
- Follow the advice on the product information sheets.

Manufacturing & Ecology

ManyMonths / MaM / MaD clothing is manufactured for the Finnish brand Babyidea by EcoTextile / HempValley (Denmark/China), a workshop specializing in natural fibers and GOTS certified since 2008 – still a rarity in China and elsewhere. Production adheres to ILO social standards (voluntary work, prohibition of child labor, fair wages, safety, and regulated working hours), and each component is OEKO-TEX¼ Standard 100 Class I certified, making it suitable for contact with babies' skin.

The dyes are produced by certified workshops and tested by independent laboratories. This partner was chosen based on verifiable criteria: technical expertise, traceability, and social guarantees. The goal is transparent and sustainable manufacturing, prioritizing responsible production practices over mere geographical proximity.

Frequently Asked Questions

‱ Is this a legging only for pregnancy?
No.
These are classic leggings, designed to be worn every day, with or without pregnancy.
The adjustable size simply allows you to adapt to variations in morphology (pregnancy, postpartum, weight variations).

‱ Is it suitable for running or moving around?
Yes
Suitable for gentle activities (walking, yoga, everyday wear). But these are not technical pants for intensive sports.

‱ How to choose the size?
Wool is naturally stretchy and enveloping without being tight. It regains its shape after the garment has been left to rest, hung up, ideally in fresh air or in the humid bathroom after a shower.
It is recommended to refer to the size guide and indicative measurements.

‱ Does wool make you itch?
No.
The fine knit is soft, often compared to cotton in feel.

‱ Can it be machine washed?
You can, if you wish, machine wash this wool at less than 30°C, on a short cycle, with a maximum spin speed of 400 rpm or no spin if possible, using a special wool detergent and no fabric softener. However, machine washing is always at your own risk. Hand washing is strongly recommended to preserve the untreated fibers.

‱ How long can it be worn without washing?
Dozens of times depending on usage, with simple ventilation.

‱ Is it hot?
It's thermoregulating: warm when it's cold, breathable when it's warm. Adding a base layer of wool or a wool-silk blend is possible in sub-zero temperatures.

‱ Does wool stretch?
Yes, slightly so with use, but it regains its shape after resting.

‱ Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes, merino wool is finer than a human hair. By maintaining its lanolin, which moisturizes it, you'll have a very comfortable garment to wear.

‱ Is this an environmentally friendly product?
Yes. Natural fiber, truly biodegradable, durable, certified and ethically produced.

Yuliya's Tips

‱ Sizing advice (for guidance only): I wear a size S daily for a more supportive, tights-like fit, although I usually wear a size M/38 in other brands. I have 6 pairs of leggings since they were released in 2017.

‱ This product is one of my must-have favorites that I highly recommend.

‱ The wool is stretchy and enveloping, and suits different body shapes. If you're unsure between two sizes, choose the smaller one.

‱ These leggings are exceptionally helpful for sleeping when feverish (like all Babyidea wool for adults and children).

‱ I highly recommend hand washing to preserve the size and structure of the garment.
Ulrich NatĂŒrlich products (laundry detergent, treatment, impregnation, stain-removing soap) are highly recommended.

Babyidea / ManyMonths / MaM

The Babyidea story begins in Finland, in the Helsinki region, as a Scandinavian family business guided by a simple idea: to design products that are truly useful in everyday life and consistent with natural parenting.

MaMÂź Design's beginnings date back to 2001, during Bettina's maternity leave; she was then a university lecturer. At that time, physiological babywearing was virtually unknown in Europe, and suitable clothing was practically nonexistent. The first creations were therefore born from a concrete need: to make life with a baby easier, without compromising on comfort or materials.
ManyMonths clothes that grow with the child - are born.

The brand has grown alongside its children: from a few boxes stacked in a bedroom serving as a makeshift workshop to a 500 mÂČ logistics space near Helsinki, and then to a network of distributors and boutiques across Europe. Despite this evolution, the objective remains unchanged: to develop sustainable, practical, and respectful solutions in partnership with companies that share the same values.

Following this principle, the manufacturing of ManyMonths, MaM, and MaD clothing was not based on geographical criteria but on technical and human factors. The choice fell on EcoTextile / HempValley (Denmark/China), a workshop specializing in natural fibers that has been operating for nearly twenty years with high standards of traceability and social responsibility. GOTS certified since 2008—a still rare certification—the manufacturer also adheres to the ILO's international labor standards. Each component is OEKO-TEX¼ Standard 100 Class I certified, and the dyes are tested by independent laboratories.

This partnership reflects the brand's philosophy: prioritizing expertise, transparency, and verifiable guarantees over superficial proximity. The objective remains the same as from the outset: to create clothing designed to last, safe for children, and consistent with a more responsible lifestyle, from design in Finland to manufacturing.

The MaM / MaD collection for adults was born in 2017 to meet the growing demand from parents to finally be able to wear the same wool as their children in ManyMonths.

*******

My business began with the purchase of a simple ManyMonths pure wool bodysuit in 2012. That's when I truly discovered what wool could be like in everyday life. Then, as I outfitted my children with the entire collection, another realization dawned: I wanted to talk about it, explain it, and share it with the world!

That's how my shop was born. This brand was the direct origin of my business, and over the years I have also been very actively involved in its development in France, while influencing certain product developments thanks to feedback from the field.

It all started thanks to Bettina. I will always be grateful to her for these clothes that have accompanied my children - and me - throughout all these years.
