This ManyMonths jogger can make a real difference if

  • you are looking for truly comfortable pants that your child can wear both at school and at home, without ever being restricted in their movements;
  • you are tired of joggers that lose their shape, stretch at the knees, or become too short in just a few months;
  • you want practical everyday pants, with pockets, and a trick to reinforce the knees which are always so vulnerable on pants;
  • you appreciate minimalist clothing that is easy to mix and match;
  • you are looking for a durable piece in a slow fashion approach: fewer clothes, but better chosen;
  • you want a soft and safe material in contact with the skin, including for sensitive children.

A jogger designed for movement
 and for durability

After the success of the Baby Joggers, ManyMonths has created these unisex joggers for older children. They are designed for both activity and calm moments: everyday pants, simple, effective, and truly comfortable to wear.

Highlights

  • Large integrated pockets: practical for everyday use, inspired by the Henley Shirt design.
  • Roll-up cuffs: to adjust the length and accommodate growth spurts.
  • Elasticated and adjustable waist: comfortable, adjustable support, without unnecessary compression.
  • Knee pads in hemp-cotton
  • Natural thermoregulation: comfortable when it's cool, pleasant when it's milder.

Available colors:

These colors are from previous collections, but I wanted to offer them in store anyway.
For me, these are truly indispensable pieces - and their usefulness remains the same, no matter the color.

Seabreeze Teal (ocean blue-green)

Sizes

Innovator: 5–7/7.5 years (110-128 cm)

Each child grows at their own pace.
I recommend choosing the size according to height in centimeters rather than age.

Composition

‱ 380 g/mÂČ natural merino wool
‱ Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Class 1 certified
‱ No Superwash or other treatments
‱ Mulesing-free wool (yarn made exclusively for Babyidea)

Maintenance tips

Untreated pure wool clothing does not need to be washed often.

‱ Regular care

- Regular airing outdoors (outside if possible, or in front of an open window)
- Rest after each use: hung on a hanger or drying rack and not left in a ball)
- Spot clean stains under ambient water with Ulrich gall soap or real Marseille soap

‱ Full wash (rare)

- Hand washing strongly recommended despite the "Machine washable" label
- Cold or ambient water
- Ulrich NatĂŒrlich or Disana liquid wool detergent
- Wash temperature = rinse temperature
- Do not wring, roll in a towel
- Dry flat, away from direct sunlight and any heat source

‱ Maintaining Lanolin

- Treatment (every 2-3 washes) or lanolin impregnation (every 3-4 washes) from time to time to preserve self-cleaning and thermoregulatory properties.
- Follow the instructions on the product sheets

Manufacturing & Ecology

ManyMonths / MaM / MaD clothing is manufactured for the Finnish brand Babyidea by EcoTextile / HempValley (Denmark/China), a workshop specializing in natural fibers and GOTS certified since 2008 – still a rarity in China and elsewhere. Production adheres to ILO social standards (voluntary work, prohibition of child labor, fair wages, safety, and regulated working hours), and each component is OEKO-TEX¼ Standard 100 Class I certified, making it suitable for contact with babies' skin.

The dyes are produced by certified workshops and tested by independent laboratories. This partner was chosen based on verifiable criteria: technical expertise, traceability, and social guarantees. The goal is transparent and sustainable manufacturing, prioritizing responsible production practices over mere geographical proximity.

Frequently Asked Questions

‱ Why is it described as evolving with the child?
Thanks to the adjustable waist and long, foldable cuffs that allow for length adjustment and accommodate growth spurts.

‱ Does the jogger fit tightly at the waist?
No: the waist is elasticated for comfort and adjustable to fit without constricting.

‱ Does this pair of trousers need frequent washing?
No. Wool is naturally antibacterial and resistant to odors and stains – thanks to lanolin. In most cases, simple airing is sufficient.

‱ Can it be used all year round?
Yes.
Merino wool naturally regulates body temperature and remains comfortable in winter as well as in mid-season, not to mention cool summers.

‱ Does merino wool not itch?
The merino wool used for baby clothes is very fine and soft. It is suitable even for sensitive skin. Proper care and maintaining lanolin is a decisive step for the natural softness of any wool.

Yuliya's Tips

‱ For me, this is THE essential item for children right after the ManyMonths longies. While leggings aren't really worn daily without adding something else, this jogger immediately looks like "real clothing": comfortable, practical, and perfectly suited for everyday life. I was really happy to see it join the collection, because this type of versatile pant was exactly what was missing, and it has no equivalent on the market! And a little bonus I love: it pairs super well with the ManyMonths women's jogger, for a simple, stunning, and ultra-comfortable parent/child duo.

‱ In very cold weather, you can use it with ManyMonths wool leggings or Cosilana wool-silk leggings.

‱ Hand wash, please!

This simple gesture - and rarely necessary - helps preserve the garment's beautiful fit and size over time.
Gentle care also helps maintain the product's high quality, which can be a real advantage if you ever wish to resell it.

ManyMonths clothes are easily passed down from family to family, and their second-hand value often remains very attractive.
Well-maintained, used for a very long time - then resold, this garment can thus become one of the most economical pieces in your child's wardrobe.

Babyidea / ManyMonths / MaM

The Babyidea story begins in Finland, in the Helsinki region, as a Scandinavian family business guided by a simple idea: to design products that are truly useful in everyday life and consistent with natural parenting.

MaMÂź Design's beginnings date back to 2001, during Bettina's maternity leave; she was then a university lecturer. At that time, physiological babywearing was virtually unknown in Europe, and suitable clothing was practically nonexistent. The first creations were therefore born from a concrete need: to make life with a baby easier, without compromising on comfort or materials.
ManyMonths clothes that grow with the child - are born.

The brand has grown alongside its children: from a few boxes stacked in a bedroom serving as a makeshift workshop to a 500 mÂČ logistics space near Helsinki, and then to a network of distributors and boutiques across Europe. Despite this evolution, the objective remains unchanged: to develop sustainable, practical, and respectful solutions in partnership with companies that share the same values.

Following this principle, the manufacturing of ManyMonths, MaM, and MaD clothing was not based on geographical criteria but on technical and human factors. The choice fell on EcoTextile / HempValley (Denmark/China), a workshop specializing in natural fibers that has been operating for nearly twenty years with high standards of traceability and social responsibility. GOTS certified since 2008—a still rare certification—the manufacturer also adheres to the ILO's international labor standards. Each component is OEKO-TEX¼ Standard 100 Class I certified, and the dyes are tested by independent laboratories.

This partnership reflects the brand's philosophy: prioritizing expertise, transparency, and verifiable guarantees over superficial proximity. The objective remains the same as from the outset: to create clothing designed to last, safe for children, and consistent with a more responsible lifestyle, from design in Finland to manufacturing.

The MaM / MaD collection for adults was born in 2017 to meet the growing demand from parents to finally be able to wear the same wool as their children in ManyMonths.

*******

My business began with the purchase of a simple ManyMonths pure wool bodysuit in 2012. That's when I truly discovered what wool could be like in everyday life. Then, as I outfitted my children with the entire collection, another realization dawned: I wanted to talk about it, explain it, and share it with the world!

That's how my shop was born. This brand was the direct origin of my business, and over the years I have also been very actively involved in its development in France, while influencing certain product developments thanks to feedback from the field.

It all started thanks to Bettina. I will always be grateful to her for these clothes that have accompanied my children - and me - throughout all these years.
