USE:

Ulrich Natürlich Delicate Laundry Detergent equally suitable for hand washing and machine washing at temperatures between 30 degrees and a maximum of 60 degrees, regardless of water hardness.

DOSAGE FOR WASHING MACHINE:

All dosage information is based on a capacity of 2.5 kg of dry laundry for one wash cycle.

Ulrich Natürlich laundry detergent is particularly economical and highly concentrated ; you only need 20 ml per wash.

1-liter bottle = approximately 50 washes

Store in a cool, dry place. Protect from direct sunlight. Use within 6 months of opening the bottle.

TIP +: Although this laundry detergent is advertised as "effective up to 60°C" and "compatible with washing machines", Maison de MaMoulia reminds us that these indications only concern the performance of the product - and not the delicate garments for which it is used.

For delicate materials, and in particular untreated wool (non-Superwash, without enzymes), washing must be done at cold or room temperature , with hand washing strongly recommended .
These natural fibers are not designed to withstand high temperatures or the mechanical action of a washing machine cycle.

Essential complementary products for wool care

  • For stains:
Use Ulrich Stain-Removing Gall Soap before washing, directly on the affected area.

  • To maintain the lanolin:
Use the Ulrich lanolin treatment every 1 to 3 washes to preserve the natural protection of the fiber.

  • To lanolize and enhance waterproofing, stain resistance and odor resistance:
Use Ulrich Impregnation , ideally every 2 to 3 washes , to restore the garment's water-repellent function.

  • To wash and re-fatten at the same time:
Ulrich lanolin-enriched laundry detergent allows you to clean woolen clothes and sheepskins while simultaneously reapplying the lanolin necessary for their properties.

YULIYA'S NOTICE, MAMOULIA'S HOUSE:

For my part, there is no equivalent on the market that matches the effectiveness and true ecological composition of these products.
I have personally used them since 2013 , and I have never found an alternative that comes close - to the point that I would be in trouble if I had to replace them.

Frequently Asked Questions

• When to use it?
When wool absorbs water faster than before, becomes rough, retains odors more, or after several washes.

• Is it a washing product?
No.
It is used after a clean wash, on an already cleaned fiber.

• How often should it be applied?
Occasionally, every 3-4 washes. It's a deep treatment, comparable to an intensive conditioning treatment, not a regular step after every wash.

• Is it suitable for all wools?
Yes, for natural woolens not coated with polymers. Particularly useful for outerwear, blankets, diaper covers, or textiles exposed to moisture.

• Should I rinse after application?
Once quickly with a little white vinegar.

• Does the garment become greasy to the touch?
Not if the dosage is respected. The fiber regains suppleness without a sticky effect.

• What is the difference in use compared to Disana lanolin?

Ulrich lanolin is emulsified, allowing it to disperse very easily in water. Preparing the lanolin bath is therefore generally simpler and faster, with a homogeneous distribution of the treatment in the water.

Disana lanolin, on the other hand, is more concentrated and offered in a purer form. It therefore requires a little more attention when preparing the bath, to ensure it dissolves well beforehand in warm water and to ensure uniform distribution on the fibers.

In both cases, the principle remains identical: reintroduce lanolin to the fiber to restore the natural properties of the wool and extend the lifespan of pure wool garments.

Yuliya's Tips

• Never immerse wool in lanolin diluted in hot water.

• Pay close attention to the application time recommendations, as these vary from one material to another.

• Do not soak boiled wool; instead, spray the product diluted in hot water to create a waterproof film.

• Do not soak for longer than recommended (risk of shrinkage and felting).

• Use either the Impregnation or the Treatment after washing, never both together.

• Do not apply to fibers that do not naturally contain sheep lanolin (silk, alpaca, cashmere…): this would weigh them down and alter their shape.

Ulrich Natürlich

Ulrich Natürlich is a German brand created over 30 years ago with a simple idea: a cleaning product should wash without altering the fabric or irritating the skin. Rather than adapting a conventional detergent, the brand chose to start from scratch by removing everything that isn't essential. The formulas contain only plant-based active ingredients and exclude enzymes, bleaching agents, optical brighteners, and dyes, in order to clean without changing the structure of textiles.

This approach also focuses on post-wash comfort. The products are dermatologically tested with a "very good" rating to prevent dryness and itching often associated with conventional detergents. Transparency is verified by independent organizations: ECO-Control, the European NCP standard for natural detergents, and the Vegan Society certification.

Environmental impact is addressed from the design stage: concentrated formulas to transport less water, refill systems to reduce waste, and regional manufacturing in Bavaria to limit distances.

Ulrich natürlich was therefore not designed as a classic laundry detergent made ecological, but as a cleaning product conceived differently from the outset: to clean effectively without over-treating the material.
