Maintenance tips

• Wool, silk, cotton:
Apply directly to the stain, gently lather, leave for 10 to 15 minutes then rinse (with cold water for wool).
For heavily stained cotton, gall soap can also be used as a sole detergent: pour up to 30 ml (1 capful) per cycle and wash normally.

• Washable diapers
The stools of breastfed babies have a strong staining effect. Rinse immediately or add bile soap to the soaking water to facilitate cleaning.

All dosage information is based on a capacity of 2.5 kg of dry laundry for one wash cycle.

Manufacturing & Ecology

The raw materials used are readily biodegradable. Compliant with the guidelines of the German Animal Protection Association.

The laundry detergent has been certified by ECO-Control according to the latest Nature Care Products standard. ECO-Control is an inspection and certification body for environmentally friendly products and quality assurance systems in the non-food sector.

Frequently Asked Questions

• Can it be used on wool?
Yes,
spot-by-spot on a stained area.
Lightly moisten, rub very gently, leave for a few minutes then rinse without thermal shock.

• And what about silk or very fine fibers?
Yes, but with caution: do not rub directly. Lather in your hands and then apply the lather to the stain.

• Can it be used on all colors?
Generally yes, but like any spot stain remover it is advisable to test first on a discreet area, especially for dark or natural dyes.

• Does it work on old stains?
It can significantly improve the result, but several applications may be necessary.

• Can it be used on its own without washing afterwards?
For a small area, yes, provided you rinse well.
For an entire garment, it is still preferable to complete the wash.

• Do we need to rub hard for it to work?
No.
The effectiveness comes primarily from the soap itself. On delicate fibers, the pressure should remain minimal.

• What type of water should I use?
Warm water is preferable. Hot water can set some protein stains, and cold water dissolves grease less effectively.

Yuliya's Tips

On colored or delicate garments, first test on a discreet area to check colorfastness.
When treating a stain, visually monitor the area during the application time: some dyes may react differently, especially if the fabric is very saturated or fragile.
If in doubt, reduce the contact time or rinse earlier.

Ulrich Natürlich

Ulrich Natürlich is a German brand created over 30 years ago with a simple idea: a cleaning product should wash without altering the fabric or irritating the skin. Rather than adapting a conventional detergent, the brand chose to start from scratch by removing everything that isn't essential. The formulas contain only plant-based active ingredients and exclude enzymes, bleaching agents, optical brighteners, and dyes, in order to clean without changing the structure of textiles.

This approach also focuses on post-wash comfort. The products are dermatologically tested with a "very good" rating to prevent dryness and itching often associated with conventional detergents. Transparency is verified by independent organizations: ECO-Control, the European NCP standard for natural detergents, and the Vegan Society certification.

Environmental impact is addressed from the design stage: concentrated formulas to transport less water, refill systems to reduce waste, and regional manufacturing in Bavaria to limit distances.

Ulrich natürlich was therefore not designed as a classic laundry detergent made ecological, but as a cleaning product conceived differently from the outset: to clean effectively without over-treating the material.
