Natural thermoregulation

Virgin wool creates a feeling of constant comfort and lasting well-being.

In winter, the pillow is naturally tempered: the air heated by the body is retained around the head and forms an insulating air cushion, one of the best natural protections against the cold.
In summer or warmer weather, wool absorbs moisture and perspiration without feeling damp or cold. It can absorb up to 30% of its own weight in moisture while remaining dry to the touch.

Natural properties

Naturally antibacterial: protein fiber with an acidic pH does not provide a favorable environment for bacteria and viruses.
Antistatic: does not attract dust and does not provide a habitat for dust mites.
Suitable for sensitive and fragile skin.

Why not a 60 x 60 cm format?

Because in sleep ergonomics, a pillow should only support the head, and not the entire head + shoulders + shoulder blades.
A pillow that is too high or too wide puts the spine in the wrong position.

The width can vary depending on the width of the bed, but the ideal height remains 40 cm, to ensure precise and physiological support.

• Is this cover softer than the 100% wool version?
Yes.
The addition of cashmere and the long pile finish make this cover noticeably softer and more supple than the pure virgin wool version.
It is particularly appreciated by people who are very sensitive to touch or who find classic wool too "present" in contact with the skin.

• Is this cushion cover suitable for children?
Yes, with one nuance.
The softness and "cuddly" effect of long hair are often greatly appreciated by children.
However, long fibers can be tempting for younger children to handle or pull. It is therefore advisable to adapt the product's use according to the child's age.

• Is it possible to sleep directly on a wool cover?

• How do I care for the cover on a daily basis?

• What to do in case of a stain?
Clean only the affected area, with room temperature water, using a genuine gall or Marseille soap, without immersing the entire cover.

Simply airing the room will restore a neutral and fresh scent.

Wool is antistatic and does not retain dust.
Dust mites do not find a favorable environment to develop there due to the very acidic pH of wool.

No.

It is designed to be used with the Saling pure virgin wool cushion. Or with another cushion with natural filling of the same dimensions.

• Can a pillowcase be used over the cover?
Yes.
It's possible to add a linen pillowcase (if possible, to maintain the thermoregulatory properties), particularly to adjust the feel if needed. But the main advantage of this cover is precisely its thermoregulatory capacity, ideal for people who sweat a lot during sleep.

• Is the cover suitable for allergy sufferers?
Yes.
Virgin wool is generally better tolerated than synthetic fibers because it is breathable, free from harsh chemical treatments, and naturally antibacterial.

If you wish, you can occasionally use the Kaiser special sheepskin brush.
Brushing helps to lift flattened hairs in areas of friction, restore volume and maintain the thermoregulatory capabilities of wool.
It must be done delicately and only occasionally.
